More Than a Death Benefit.

We offer life insurance policies designed with more flexibility, more protection, and more ways to support you while you are living.

Protection You Can Access While You Are Living.

Many of the policies we offer include living benefits at no additional charge. These benefits may allow a portion of the death benefit to be accelerated when qualifying conditions occur.

Terminal illness
Chronic illness
Critical illness
Critical injury
Qualifying Alzheimer's disease
Qualifying Lewy Body Dementia

Availability, definitions, qualifying conditions, benefit amounts, exclusions, and eligibility requirements vary by policy and contract. Benefits are subject to the applicable policy and rider terms.

Optional riders

Riders Designed Around Real Life.

Depending on the policy, riders can provide additional protection, flexibility, income options, and planning opportunities.

Potential Lifetime Income

Provides the potential for a stream of income for life, subject to the rider requirements, election provisions, and policy terms.

Guarantees are subject to the rider requirements, policy terms, and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company.

Balance Sheet Benefit Rider

Can waive a portion or all of applicable surrender charges and may be useful in certain business-planning strategies, subject to the rider and policy terms.

Whether any surrender charges are waived depends on the applicable rider and policy terms.

Guaranteed Flex Rider

Designed to help keep a policy in force for a selected period when the policy owner satisfies the required cumulative monthly guaranteed premium over that period, subject to the rider terms.

Withdrawals and policy debt can affect eligibility and policy performance. Specific requirements apply.

Gap Protection Rider

Designed for younger insurance buyers who anticipate needing additional coverage later. The rider can provide annual increases in the policy's face amount by a pre-selected amount without additional underwriting, subject to eligibility and rider terms.

Additional Protection

Can provide additional death benefit protection without significantly increasing the cost, subject to the policy and rider terms.

Combo MultiChoice Term Rider

One Policy. More People Protected.

Life insurance is not always just about protecting one person. Sometimes the people who depend on you, work beside you, or build the business with you need protection too.

UP TO 5

PEOPLE

Can include the primary insured plus eligible spouse, children, business partners, employees, or other eligible relationships.

UP TO 3X

ADDITIONAL COVERAGE

Additional term insurance coverage up to a maximum of three times the total face amount at issue, subject to the rider terms.

20 OR 30

YEARS

Available level-term periods, subject to policy and rider provisions.

Coverage can be structured using 20-year or 30-year level term periods, giving families and business owners an opportunity to address multiple protection needs within one overall strategy.

Protect More of the People Who Matter.

For a family, that could mean extending protection to a spouse or children.

For a business owner, it could mean considering protection for business partners or key employees.

The goal is simple: identify the people whose loss could create a financial impact, then build protection around the relationships that matter most.

Protection That Can Matter While You Are Living.

The Combo MultiChoice Term Rider comes with Accelerated Benefit Riders, except the Premium Chronic Care Rider, that may allow qualifying benefits to be accelerated in the event of terminal illness, chronic illness, critical illness, critical injury, or a qualifying diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or Lewy Body Dementia.

The Premium Chronic Care Rider is a separate, optional rider that is not included here and requires an additional cost. These benefits are subject to the applicable policy and rider terms, conditions, eligibility requirements, and exclusions.

Protection Today. Options for Tomorrow.

Coverage under the rider may be convertible to a new permanent policy on the life of each eligible insured without evidence of insurability while the rider is in force and before the applicable final conversion date, subject to the rider terms.

Learn more about conversion provisions

Conversion is available on the life of each eligible insured while the rider remains in force and before the applicable final conversion date for that insured. The final conversion date and any age limits are set by the rider and the policy.

A new permanent policy issued through conversion is subject to the terms, rates, and conditions in effect for the new policy. Conversion does not create a right to any particular premium, benefit amount, or policy design.

The complete conversion provisions are set out in the rider and the policy contract, which govern.

Children's Term Rider

Protect the Next Generation.

The Children's Term Rider can provide term coverage for eligible children up to $25,000. Coverage may be convertible according to the rider's terms, with conversion availability of up to six times the rider face amount and a maximum of $150,000.

$25,000

Term coverage per eligible child

$150,000

Maximum conversion amount

Conversion is subject to the rider terms and applicable requirements. Coverage amounts, availability, and eligibility vary by policy and state.

Extended Hospital Stay Death Benefit Rider

Additional Protection in a Difficult Moment.

The Extended Hospital Stay Death Benefit Rider can provide an additional $5,000 death benefit if the insured's death occurs while confined to a hospital for at least 20 consecutive days, subject to the rider's conditions.

The qualifying confinement must begin at least one year after the policy's date of issue.

Premium Chronic Care Rider
Optional riderAdditional cost

Optional Chronic Care Protection.

The Premium Chronic Care Rider can accelerate the death benefit without discounting, subject to the rider requirements and policy terms.

This rider is optional, carries an additional cost, and is not available with the Gap Protection Rider.

This rider is separate from the living benefits that are built into applicable policies at no additional charge. The two are distinct features with different costs and terms.

How to think about riders

Do Not Add Features Just to Add Features.

The goal is not to build the longest list of riders. It is to build the right policy for the person, the purpose, and the stage of life.

A strong policy review should consider:

  • What protection is needed today?
  • What could change in the next 10, 20, or 30 years?
  • Could living benefits matter?
  • Is additional protection likely to be needed later?
  • Could multiple people need coverage?
  • How important is flexibility?
  • Could lifetime income become part of the strategy?
  • Which optional features actually serve the client's objectives?

Do not just ask what your policy pays when you die.

Ask what it can do while you are living.

Let us review the whole picture.

Important disclosures

Riders, benefits, charges, limitations, exclusions, eligibility requirements, and availability vary by policy, carrier, state, and individual circumstances. Living benefits are available on applicable policies at no additional charge and are subject to the terms, conditions, and requirements of the applicable policy or rider. Benefits may accelerate a portion of the death benefit and may be discounted depending on the applicable benefit. Guarantees are subject to the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. Indexed interest crediting does not represent a direct investment in an index. Policy loans and withdrawals may reduce cash value and death benefit and may have tax consequences if the policy is not maintained according to its terms.
